Jun Sakata
Art Exhibition
Galeri Cipta II, Taman Ismail Marzuki, Jakarta
July 2nd-12th, 2017
Jun Sakata Known as an Ikebana Artist from Japan. Stayed in Bali and Japan, became an artist in almost 20 years. He exhibited his art in Indonesia and overseas. He is a truly artist. he uses banana paper, made from banana leaf stems with hand-work technique and using oil pastel, Sumi ink (Chinese ink), and Kakishibu (Persimmon tannin juice) for coloring then he created the unique and natural art painting.
First time when I see His art, feels like so peace and wondering at the same time. I couldn’t imagine behind the scene of making those painting. There’s a lot of detail to do, smalls detail (if you pay attention to the painting). When you look closer, you’ll get pieces of banana’s paper cut in different size and put it to the background. It takes more time to do and needs extra power and commitment to finish it all. Sometimes, only master can do that. lol ~(^0^~)
On July 2nd-12th,2017 Jun Sakata proudly present ‘Jun Sakata’s Art Exhibition’ at Galeri Cipta II, Taman Ismail Marzuki, Jakarta. He exhibited his Art Painting and Art of Ikebana. COME ON GUYS, TAKE A LOOK inside the exhibition…….Here we gooooo….
